The Shellfish Cooperative “Malostonska Kamenica” is announcing a job opening for the position of Manager of the Dispatch and Depuration Center, who will be responsible for preparing, implementing, and monitoring project activities, with a focus on managing the dispatch and depuration center, strengthening the cooperative’s capacities, developing the local community, and ensuring the sustainable management of natural resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management and administration of the dispatch and depuration center in Bistrina

• Identification of and application for national and EU funding opportunities

• Management of project documentation and reporting to supervisory authorities

• Coordination of activities among cooperative members, partners, and institutions

• Monitoring project implementation according to the plan and budget

• Organization of workshops, training sessions, and public events

• Communication with external collaborators, consultants, and stakeholders

• Administrative and logistical support to the Cooperative Supervisory Board and the General Assembly

Requirements:

• University degree (preferably in social sciences, economics, humanities, or natural sciences)

• Experience in writing and preparing development initiatives

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Proficiency in spoken and written English

• Proficiency in MS Office

Preference will be given to candidates who:

• Are actively involved in the community (associations, initiatives, project writing, event organization)

• Are familiar with basic principles of cooperative work or with the local context

• Have experience in report writing, document preparation, and administrative tasks
